Collect for Today
Almighty God, you show to those who are in error
the light of your truth, that they may return to
the way of righteousness; grant to all those who
are admitted into the fellowship of Christ’s
religion, that they may reject those things that
are contrary to their profession, and follow all
such things as are agreeable to the same;
through our Lord Jesus Christ, who is alive and
reigns with you, In the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Post Communion Prayer
Almighty God, you see that we have no power of
ourselves to help ourselves; keep us both
outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly in our
souls; that we may be defended from all
adversities which may happen to the body, and
from all evil thoughts which may assault and
hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
AMEN

Children’s’ Activities …
Sunday School is
open to all children between the ages of 3 and
11 years and it meets every Sunday morning at
9.30 a.m. in Cubbington school, except for the
first Sunday of the month. The children are then
welcome to come into church for a Blessing and
also to tell the congregation about what they
have learned.
The Edward Bear Club
meets on the first and third Tuesday of each
month between 2.15 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. for a time
of drawing, music making and listening to
stories. This club is open to all pre-school age
children and babies, accompanied by their
parents, grandparents and carers.
Tuesday Bears meet
on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month,
from 3.45 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Children are able to participate in
crafts, stories, and creative fun. This club is
open to school age children from 5 to 11 years.
On the first Sunday of every
month during the school term, we hold a Children’s’ Service in church, beginning
at 11.00 a.m. This service lasts for half an
hour and includes stories and songs.
Children and adults are welcome to attend
this popular service.
Youth Group
The new youth club
is held on Thursdays in term time at the Cliff
Cleaver Community Pavilion.
It is open from
7.00 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. but will not close
until 9.00 p.m. during the lighter evenings.
The children enjoy
spending time with their friends in a warm and
friendly environment.
There are
currently four volunteers running the group.
New equipment,
such as games, televisions, craft resources and
games consoles are currently being purchased.
There are a few
spaces available and registration forms may be
obtained from Cubbington Newsagents in Queen Street.
The club is non-profit making and any donations
or equipment would be welcome, as would anyone
who has skills in music or craftwork, which
could be used with the children.
